Bill Durbin, another researcher of the Durbin line, has donated some of his work for the site. Thank You, Bill!

      Part 1

Nov 26, 1996 The following is a transcription of notes taken by William P. Durbin
and Lorraine B. Durbin in September 1977 at the Society of Genealogists,
London, England. Unfortunately, time was short and expensive; thus, details on
the source of information within the stacks of the Society are incomplete.
Where such sources were noted, they will be listed in this account. Also,
the significance of the information many times is not clear inasmuch as
the data was codified in the original text.
###Card Index notes Durbin as one of 17 spellings in the Society files:
Durban, Dawberne, Durburnh, Dawborn(e), Durborne, Dauburne, Durbin, Dawbarn,
Durbon, Daubin, Dawbin, Durbun, Darben, Darbourn, Derbern, Dobbyn, Dabon
