Assisted by Mr. Arthur P. Freed, who assisted in lifting tombstones, which
were broken and covered with earth.

PAUL
In memory of GEORGE PAUL, who departed this life on 3/31/1778,in the 44th year
of his age.
[Stone is in excellent condition and cemented in a new concretebase.]
In memory of MARTHA PAUL, who departed this life on 5/11/1802, in the 69th year of her age.
[Stone is in excellent condition and cemented in a new concretebase.]
CANNON
In memory of DANIEL CANNON, who departed this life, 2/5/1797, in the 53rd year of his age.
[Stone in excellent condition, but almost toppled over.]
In memory of AGNESS CANNON, who departed this life 2/1/1823, inthe 74th year of her age.
[Same design of stone as that of DANIEL CANNON; in excellent condition, but almost toppled over.]
Sacred to the memory of JOHN CANON, who departed this life 4/9/1814, in the 46th year of his age.
[Foot stone inscribed J. C.; stone in excellent condition, but almost toppled over.]
Sacred to the memory of ELIZABETH CANON, who departed this life 7/12/1842, aged 72 years and 10 months.
[This stone is broken off at the base, lying flat on the ground, and almost covered with earth.]
In memory of DANIEL CANON, son of ------- CANON, who departed this life --------, A. D. 179--.
[Stone is scaled, and in bad condition; broken off at the base, and almost covered with earth.]

and 10 days. [Stone is broken from the base, and almost covered with earth; lying flat on
the ground.]
In memory of PRESSLEY L. CANON, who departed this life,3/7/1827, in the 22nd year of his age.
[Stone is broken off at the base, lying flat on the ground andcovered with mother earth.]
MC CLELLAND
In memory of JOHN MC CLELLAND, who departed this life on 2/15/1819, in the 80th year
of his age.
[This stone in excellent condition, lying flat on the ground and broken from the base.]
In memory of EXPERIENCE MC CLELLAND, who departed this life on 2/9/1815, in the 67th year
of her age.
[This stone in excellent condition, lying flat on the ground and broken from the base.]
In memory of General ALEXANDER MC CLELLAND, who died on 5/28/1841, in his 74th year
of his age.
[This stone in excellent condition, standing against a tree inabout the middle of the cemetery.]
Sacred to the memory of JOHN MC CLELLAND, Father of ALEXANDER MCCLELLAND, And Grand-father
of JAMES A. MC CLELLAND, who died in the 80th year of his age, on the 15th day of February, 1819.
"He lies intomb'd in this cold grave,
Who liv'd and die'd in Christian faith.
A loving husband and true friend -
A tender Father to the end."
[Stone broken in three pieces; one half standing upright, and
two pieces covered with earth.]
Sacred to the memory of EXPERIENCE MC CLELLAND, Mother of ALEXANDER MC CLELLAND, And Grand
mother of JAMES A. MC CLELLAND, who died in the 67th year of her age, on the 9th of February, 1815.
"In Faith she lived; in Faith she died,
and in Christ Jesus, did confide.
A loving wife, a sincere friend,
A tender mother to the end."
[This stone broken also in several places; approximately one half standing upright, and the
pieces scattered in various places.]
Several other stones are illegible; scattered and piled, andbroken...all in bad
condition.
