Posted on Facebook, by Debby Becker, their oldest daughter.
Today my parents would have been married 59 years so I am sending a big
"Happy Anniversary" to heaven and would like to share their story I wrote to honor them
with my Facebook friends and family.
Mom and Dad
A man and a woman living a peaceful life, she had no husband and he had no wife
In a small church they stood together vowing their love would last forever
Two special people, a man and his wife, walked down the isle and began their new life.
As the years passed by their family grew, like the love that was shared by only these two.
In good times and bad thru sickness and health, they taught us about a special wealth.
Respect for all people, especially each other and endless love and support from a father and mother.
A hard working man, four kids and a wife, each one of us so content with our life.
We all grew up and one by one left home leaving our parents some time on their own.
Their feelings still strong they cherished each other, always together, my father and mother.
Then one day in a hospital room, she quietly wept in fear for her groom.
The news wasn't good for her heart felt like stone, she wasn't ready to be left on her own.
She looked so small and alone that day when the angels came to take him away.
Their promises kept-till death do us part, She laid him to rest with a break in her heart.
Her days became longer since he wasn't there, alone in a life she was supposed to share.
Eleven years ago she slipped away to be with her groom and there she would stay.
They will be waiting in heaven together so one day we will join them forever.
Thank you for sharing a part of my personal life by reading this.
