         "Three groups of Lucas names are found in the Swan-Hughes Bible, giving dates of
      birth. The first of these were the children of Charles and Elizabeth (EVANS) LUCAS, and
      also the name of John SWAN's wife, Elizabeth LUCAS."

           3.     i Charles Lucas b. 1-Jul.1720, m. Elizabeth.
           4.    ii Thomas Lucas b. 12-Apr.1722, m. Anne Keene.
        + 5.   iii Elizabeth LUCAS b. 11-Mar.1723, m. John SWAN, Sr.
           6.    iv Mary Lucas b. 13-Jun.1725.
           7.     v Ann Lucas b. 27-Apr.1728, m. James Kendall?
           8.    vi William Lucas b. 7-Jul.1730, m. Sarah.
           9.   vii Richard Lucas b. 19-Jul.1732, m1. Elsie, m2. Rachel Duvall?

          11.    ix Samuel Lucas b. 25-Nov.1736, m. Elizabeth Beall.
      (Of the above names, Elizabeth and Sarah, wives of John SWAN, Sr., and Jesse Pigman,
      Sr., respectively, came to the Tenmile. Thomas, Ann, Richard, and Samuel came to Fayette
      County, Pa., and William, also came to Fayette County, where he tarried for a time and
      then bought land in Greene County, in the vicinity of Garard's Fort.
