...I, Alvaretta Reynolds, of the City of
Moundsville, Marshall Co., W.Va., do make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will, hereby revoking any and all other wills, by me hertofore made:
...ITEM 1. It is my will, and I do direct, that all my debts and funeral expences be paid as soon as practicable after my death; and I will and direct that my remains be buried in our lot in Greenlawn in said City of Moundsville, in which lot my deceased husband, Samuel Reynolds, is buried.
...ITEM 2. All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal and mixed, I devise and bequeath to my son, Lawrence Reynolds, to be his own absolutely.
...ITEM 3. I name and appoint my said son, Lawrence Reynolds, executor of this, my last will; I, request that no security be required of him as such executor.

and Marie Buzzard, of Marshall County, W.V. do certify that the signature to the forgoing writing, dated the 22nd, day of September 1938, is the signature of Alvaretta Reynolds, of Moundsville, Marshall County, W.Va.; that said Alvaretta Reynolds made her said signature in our presence, both of us, being present at same time when she made her said signature; that Alveretta Reynolds, acknowledged said writing to be her will, both of us being present at the same time when she made said acknowledgement; and we, at the request and in the presence of each other, subscribed said writing as witnessed thereto, this 22nd day of September, 1938.
