-----Original Message----- From: RMilne1035@aol.comTo: hsdurbin@alltel.net Date: Friday, June 18, 1999 12:54 PM Subject: DURBIN WILL'S FROM DIANA MILNE Hi Helen, I am finally back from SLC and have sent the Durbin Wills as promised. I mailed them on Tuesday, so you should be getting them shortly. I also included copies of the Index for the Orphan's Court in Greene Co. Pa., and the index for all Grantee's that were Durbin's in Greene Co. It may be more than you wanted, if so discard. Most of the will's are for children of Benjamin Durbin and Nancy Parnell. I have also included the will for John Yeater, who was married to Nancy Durbin daughter of Benjamin and Nancy. If you follow all of the documents you will discover that she was intermarried following his death to a Mr. Henderson. This is a fact that I did not know before reading his will. It also lists all of her children by name. I just wish she was my Nancy Durbin. What do you know about the Edward Durbin and Stephen Durbin of Greene County, and also the Phillip Durbin listed in the 1790 census in Washington County? Since talking to you last, I have discovered that Jacob Creighbaum/Creekbaum had a land claim in Zanesville, Ohio. After checking, I discovered about five Durbins that also had land claims in Zanesville Ohio at the same time. One was a John who may have been Phillip's son - maybe brother to my Nancy. If this is a duplicated message, please ignore- I sent you one last night, but my computer was doing wierd things, and this morning it doesn't show up in my "Sent Mail" file. Hope to hear from you soon Diana
