Sisters Screams Bring Aid Too Late.

death of a third sister, also blind, who was fatally burned in her home near
Time on Friday and died on Saturday.
Death came to Miss Flora Huffman, 70, Saturday, December 17, at 8 a.m.,

efforts were unavailing. Their screams attracted Mrs. Ealy from another part

In memory of Miss Metta Huffman, who departed this life, March 24,
1903, after an illness of only six short weeks of typhoid fever, yet we
did not think she would be taked from us so soon. She was born Sept.
4, 1881, and died at her home at Oak Forest, Pa.
She was most tenderly cared for by Mr. and Mrs. Huffman, both watching
and faithfully doing all that they could for her with patience and willing
hands until the last, but for all they could not stay the hand of death
for the heavenly Father was also watching and waiting for His own, and
His unnerring wisdom took our dear Metta into His own care and keeping.
Let us pray that when the heavenly gates are thrown wide open we may all
