Washington County Cemeteries These cemeteries were researched by me in 1982. They are incomplete because there were several places for graves but the stones were gone. Also on the North Liberty Street Cemetery, I added several names which were not on the original lists in Citizen's Library, Washington, Washington County, Pa. My husband and I went over the cemetery in West Alexander after it was bulldozed over, climbing on all the stones and dirt, which were pushed over the hill. With a pick and shovel, we were able to add 65 names which were not on original lists. DUTCH FORK CHURCH CEMETERY 1. He was immensely useful and greatly respected. In the course of & more endearing relations of life as a son, husband, father, friend, he was dutiful and affectionate and sincere. Should it be asked what was the most prominent amiable trait in his Character. They who best knew him would reply a uniform and unostentotations, charitableness to the poor and destitute, none of whom were ever by him sent empty away. On his death bed although nearly in the prime of life and with prospects of much worldly prosperity, he frequently expressed his entire submission to the will of God, in reference to his sickness and death. But he is gone and the place which once knew, will now, know him no more, forever. Reader, Traveller to eternity hear a voice addressing thee from this tomb and saying PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD.
