I quote from the History written by Gregg Livingstone Neel, pp 47 and 48.

The Author is indebted to Mr. and Mrs. Harold A. Russell
of Waynesburg, Greene County, Pennsylvania. They have visited the sites Thomas Family cemeteries and have photographed the extant gravestones existing in 1947. One cemetery was in Center Township, about five miles south of Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. Joshua Thomas and his two wifes are buried in a little plot north on the John Thomas Cemetery. Mrs Russell is a descendant of Ellen Thomas Huffman (Mrs. Spenser Blatchley Huffman), who was a daughter of Remembrance Hughes Neel and Eleanor Thomas Neel. Below are inscriptions from the stones that the Russells photographed:
John Thomas -- In memory of John Thomas who departed this life ____6th ____aged 6____
Cassander Thomas -- Wife of John Thomas, died January 12, 1830 in the 76th year of her age.
Joshua Thomas --Died October 12, 1873 aged 86 yr, 7 mo 1 da
Catherine Thomas -- Wife of Joshua Thomas died Aug. 3, 1848 aged 58 yr, 4 mo, 26 da.
Margaret Thomas -- Wife of Joshua Thomas died March 14, 1874 aged 87 yr, 11 mo, 26 da.
The wife of Joshua Thomas was born Catherine Livingood
, daughter of Peter and Mary Provator Livingood, who were said to have come from Eastern Pennsylvania. Peter Livingood was in Fayette County, Pennsylvania in 1783. It is presumed that the Thomas' came from Eastern Pennsylvania. The Joshua Thomas family lived in Center Township, Greene County, in 1820, but later moved to the farm in Franklin Township, Greene County, where they lived until the death of Joshua Thomas in 1873.
Eleanor Thomas was buried at Goshen Church Cemetery, Greene County, Pennsylvania.
Will Book IV, P. 446, Number 2731, Greene County Courthouse, Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, contains the will of Joshua Thomas dated November 7, 1872. In it he names..."daughter Elender [Eleanor] who married Rememberance Neel."
